Job summary

Washington Area Community Investment Fund, Inc. (WACIF) seeks a Senior Program and Project Lead to strengthen advisory services, program performance, and cross-departmental project execution within the Programs department in a hybrid DC-based setting.

The role requires oversight of budgets, grant compliance, and collaboration with Program Directors, Managers, and Finance to advance program goals and drive continuous improvement. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least five years of experience in project or program management.
• Strong ability to lead complex projects and influence cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in grant management, monitoring requirements and objectives.
• Proficient in budget management and financial analysis.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient with project management tools and software, including Monday.com.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor advisory services programs to ensure grant compliance and achieve objectives.
• Monitor program budgets and financial resources with program managers and Finance.
• Coordinate cross-department projects, track progress with Monday.com, and manage timelines.
• Develop performance metrics to measure program effectiveness and drive improvements.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and board meetings.
• Set agendas for program staff and quarterly meetings; track deadlines for reporting.
