Job summary

UCB is seeking a Senior Principal Programmer to join the Programming, Visualization and Reporting team in the United States, based in Raleigh, NC or Atlanta, GA. You will help clinical programming teams move to and work confidently within UCB’s modern Statistical Computing Environment.

You will translate reporting needs into well-governed study setups, support compliant platform operations, and help improve how teams generate, validate, and deliver clinical trial analysis and reporting outputs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in clinical trial results generation, reporting, and submission.
  • Experience supporting Statistical Computing Environments, including process flows, user access, and Biometrics requirements.
  • Understanding CDISC standards (SDTM and ADaM) and Tables/Figures/Listings.
  • Experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments with SDLC, validation, audit readiness, and compliant configuration.
  • Clear communication with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Practical experience with Domino Data Lab, SAS, R, Git, Azure DevOps, VS Code, or SAS Studio.

Responsibilities

  • Review and coordinate analysis/setup requests to ensure completeness and on-time delivery.
  • Configure study structures, datasets, reporting components, and access per governance.
  • Manage role-based access and Git/Azure DevOps resources.
  • Coordinate environment provisioning with platform admins for ready environments.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing operations as a first-line technical contact.
  • Improve lifecycle management and automate workflows to enhance quality and user experience.
