Job summary

Thomson Reuters Senior Data Steward, Master Data role oversees customer data as a strategic asset across Thomson Reuters business units. You will gather requirements, enter and maintain core data, and ensure alignment with data governance policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a master data application role and/or business analytics.
• Experience in data management and manipulation.
• Experience working with virtual teams globally.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Proven documentation skills (BRDs, specs).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer data content on the MDM platform.
• Monitor, validate, and execute data creation and change requests.
• Develop expertise on one or more data domains.
• Manage risks associated with data domains.
• Proactively monitor and control data quality.
• Support continuous improvement of master data processes.
• Document metadata in the Enterprise Master Data Catalog.
• Ensure data attributes comply with policies.
• Coordinate with process owners to troubleshoot data issues.
• Define SOPs and process flows for enterprise data.
• Support projects addressing master data items.
• Execute data cleansing, enrichment, and testing cycles.
