Job summary

Azurity Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Manager, Scientific Communications to drive strategic scientific communications across the product lifecycle. This US-based hybrid role sits in Medical Affairs and partners with Medical Leads and external agencies to ensure accurate, compliant data dissemination.

The role includes publication planning, congress strategy, platform development, and governance to support disease-state leadership and evidence visibility.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to present effective and influential oral presentations.
• Strong working knowledge of GPP3/ICMJE publication ethics, authorship and disclosures.
• Familiarity with SRC/PMRC review processes and medical content compliance.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent organization, prioritization and project execution.
• Proven ability to lead agencies/vendors and manage budgets and timelines.
• Proficiency in digital tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and execution of integrated scientific communications plans.
• Maintain the scientific platform with core data narrative and key messages.
• Ensure clear review and approval pathways with Medical Lead involvement.
• Collaborate with Medical Leads and experts for accuracy and relevance.
• Oversee publication governance, planning, manuscript development and congress strategy.
• Manage publication and medical-writing agencies, including budgets and timelines.
• Support congress strategy and coordination of sessions and content.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate data into clear narratives.
