Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic HR leadership within the Technical Services Unit. You will guide managers on talent initiatives, employee relations, compensation and development, while mitigating risk and ensuring policy compliance.

The role collaborates with leaders across regions and works to improve workforce strategies, succession planning, and HR program delivery, while aligning with corporate objectives and enterprise policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of related HR experience.
  • 2+ years as HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, preferably in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR leadership to managers and employees across designated regions or divisions.
  • Administer a broad range of HR functions including compensation, benefits, employee relations, engagement, workforce planning, development, and recruitment support.
  • Identify HR trends and partner with leaders to support workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Advise on employee relations matters, manage conflicts, disciplinary actions, and compliance with policies and legal requirements.
  • Lead or contribute to HR initiatives and programs to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Support managers with performance feedback and development strategies.
