Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for a Senior Cloud Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-class software for on-prem and cloud environments. You will work on scaling, optimizing, and evolving the Morpheus and VM Essentials platforms, shaping the direction of HPE's Private Cloud solutions across global enterprises.

This role requires deep JVM backend experience, strong cloud service design, and leadership to mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Java, Groovy, or other JVM languages; backend/cloud development experience.
• Hands-on experience with server management protocols such as BMC/Redfish for automation.
• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 networking and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable backend systems using JVM languages with cloud-native principles.
• Lead integrations with server management platforms to automate provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Develop orchestration services interacting with Compute and Networking via REST/CLI.
• Engineer and optimize L2/L3 networking; monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure.
• Define and enforce best practices in architecture, security, and DevOps across the team.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive technical excellence.
