StevenDouglas is seeking a Staff or Senior Accountant for its Wilmington accounting team in a growing, private-equity backed environment. The role offers a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days in the office and opportunities to advance.

You will manage month-end close, prepare financial reporting, partner with operations, and support budgeting and audits while applying US GAAP and leveraging advanced Excel skills. This position rewards initiative and collaboration.

Formación

• 2+ years of public accounting OR 3+ years of full-cycle industry accounting experience
• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communicator who is confident, driven, independent, and solutions-oriented

Responsabilidades

• Manage month-end close, account reconciliations, and journal entries
• Prepare financial reporting and variance analysis
• Partner with local operations leaders on monthly financial reviews
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and tax reporting
• Identify and implement accounting process improvements
• Provide reporting, analysis, and support for cross-functional initiatives
• Apply US GAAP principles and support technical accounting research
