Job summary

Cymbiotika in San Diego, CA is seeking a Scientific Affairs & Claims Substantiation Specialist to support scientific validation, regulatory compliance, and product claims substantiation across our supplement portfolio. You will translate complex research into consumer-friendly content, collaborate with marketing, regulatory, and product teams, and educate internal stakeholders on latest science and trends.

Hybrid schedule with four days in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Clinical Nutrition, Food Science, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related field.
• RD or CNS credentials are beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong writing and ability to translate science for non-technical audiences.
• Experience with regulatory guidelines (FDA/FTC/DSHEA/EFSA) is preferred.
• Experience in dietary supplements or nutraceuticals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and substantiate claims based on clinical evidence while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Translate scientific findings into consumer-friendly marketing content.
• Provide scientific training and support to marketing, sales, and customer service teams.
• Collaborate with marketing, regulatory, and product teams to maintain accuracy of product claims.
