Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist for a 41-week assignment in Sebring, FL. This role offers a hybrid schedule with 3–4 days onsite and 1–2 days virtual, delivering both in-person and remote therapy to students.

The candidate will conduct evaluations, contribute to IEP development, and maintain thorough documentation. Florida licensure, DOH, and DOE certifications are required, with prior school-based experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist License.
• Florida Department of Health (DOH) licensure and Florida Department of Education (DOE) Certification.
• Prior experience providing school-based speech-language therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to identify, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in a school-based setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs, ensuring goals are measurable and aligned with student needs.
• Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services in both in-person and virtual settings, adapting techniques to meet diverse student needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and track student data to adjust treatment plans and communicate progress to educators and families.
