Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health field.
• Two years of experience in social work, human services, education, psychology, or related field.
• Bilingual in Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates families’ access to funding assistance for copays and deductible payments to reduce barriers.
• Receives referrals from school staff to provide information, resources and referrals.
• Engages referred student and supports as needed.
• Conducts brief screening.
• Refers to appropriate supports and services.
• Crisis services and community-based supports.
• Acts as liaison between OCHN, providers, and schools.
• Determines eligibility for Medicaid specialty mental health services.
• Conducts follow-up to ensure timely access to supports.
