Job summary

ZP Group is searching for a Ground Systems Integration Engineer in a hybrid role based in Arvada, CO or Seattle, WA. This position focuses on integrating new satellite platforms and flight software into the mission management platform. Candidates must have proficiency in Python, C++, or Java, and experience in satellite communication protocols. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in satellite command/control systems are preferred. The role offers an estimated compensation between $120,000 and $180,000 annually depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with satellite communication protocols (CCSDS, CSP, CFDP).
• Understanding of command and telemetry standards (XTCE, MIB).
• Knowledge of encryption algorithms (AES-256 GCM, NSA Type 1).
• 3+ years of experience in satellite command and control systems or similar complex integration environments.

Responsibilities

• Integrate satellite vehicles and flight software into the mission management platform.
• Collaborate with customers to decompose mission requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug low-level software and hardware interfaces.
