Medical Mutual, located in Brooklyn, OH, is seeking a supervisor to oversee utilization staff and ensure adherence to medical necessity guidelines across inpatient, concurrent, and retrospective reviews, in collaboration with physician reviewers.

The role requires a Registered Nurse with 7+ years in utilization review or case management, with leadership experience and Lean Six Sigma preferred. The position is hybrid, with three days onsite at the Brooklyn, OH headquarters and the rest remote.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a registered nursing program; BSN preferred.
• 7+ years RN experience in utilization review or case management.
• Experience leading teams or projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of utilization staff and directs performance.
• Leads interdisciplinary collaboration for utilization management and discharge planning.
• Ensures data collection for authorizations and monitors accuracy.
• Ensures compliance with policies, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
