The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated Certified School Nurse (CSN) for a part-time hybrid role in West Sacramento, CA. You will manage student health needs, support IEP/504 health plans, provide first aid and medication administration, and collaborate with school teams, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe learning environment.

Ideal candidates are licensed RNs with California school nurse credentials and experience in pediatric or school health settings.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and California School Nurse credential are required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills are essential.
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or community health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage chronic and acute medical needs for students.
• Support and monitor IEP and 504 health plans.
• Provide first aid, medication administration, and emergency response services.
• Collaborate with school teams, families, and healthcare providers to maintain safe learning environments.
• Serve as a health educator and advocate for student wellness.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation per district and regulatory requirements.
