Job summary

Genex Service LLC in Sterling, VA is seeking a Medical Field Case Manager. This hybrid, full-time role requires local travel for in-person appointments with injured workers and collaboration with physicians, employers, and customers to plan and manage care.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with 2+ years of clinical experience; workers' compensation knowledge is preferred. A reliable home office setup and access to necessary tools are provided.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years clinical practice; workers' compensation experience preferred.
• Skills: Ability to advocate with physicians/providers, employers, and customers; work independently; basic computer skills; strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of case management standards of practice.
• Advise on treatment plans using injury knowledge.
• Interview injured workers to assess recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians/providers to tailor treatment plans.
• Coordinate with employers and physicians to modify job duties for early return to work.
• Manage workload and prioritize cases.
• Attend appointments and submit status updates as required.
