Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital is seeking a Research Nurse Coordinator to oversee the implementation and conduct of human subject research projects across disease specialties. You will use nursing expertise to develop care plans, evaluate conditions, perform blood draws, EKGs, informed consent, and patient screening while supporting regulatory activities and data entry in EDC systems.

The role offers a hybrid schedule (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) with one day on site each week

Qualifications

• RN licensed in state; BLS certification; proficiency with computers and data entry.
• Four years of clinical experience.
• Two years of research experience.
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation and conduct of human subject research projects.
• Perform care plan development, condition evaluations, and nursing assessments.
• Conduct blood draws, EKGs, informed consent, patient screening and closeout visits.
• Assist with regulatory activities and data entry using electronic data capture systems.
• Coordinate with investigators, research personnel, outside study personnel and central research offices.
