Allied Instructional seeks knowledgeable school psychologists to join our team of independent contractors for the 2026-2027 school year. We offer support from experienced professionals and opportunities across multiple states with flexible hybrid and remote options.

The role involves comprehensive psychological assessments, counseling, and collaboration with school staff to develop effective interventions and IEP/Section 504 plans.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for a Pupil Personnel Services license with an endorsement in School Psychology.
• 60 graduate hours culminating in at least a master’s degree or a certificate issued by NSPCB.
• Broad knowledge of psycho-educational evaluations, cognitive psychology, learning theories and behavior interventions.
• Clear ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally; ability to collaborate with educators and therapists.
• Willingness to travel with dependable transportation; not applicable to remote providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and behavioral intervention services in collaboration with classroom teachers.
• Prepare comprehensive psychological reports with practical recommendations for IEP/Section 504 planning.
• Consult with teachers to determine appropriate interventions for classrooms.
• Conduct psycho-educational assessments and data interpretation.
• Participate in child study and eligibility meetings; maintain accurate records of services.
• Comply with federal, state, and local laws governing student welfare; liaison with families and school staff.
