• 3+ years drafting and prosecuting patent applications for an IP law firm.
• Ability to draft, edit and file patent applications and responses to Office Actions.
• Experience using AI tools to support patent prosecution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Writes new patent applications for filing at USPTO.
• Analyzes and revises patent agreements and assists with appeals, reexaminations and reissues.
• Negotiates and drafts patent agreements; prepares documents for filing and processing.
• Drafts responses to USPTO office actions.
• Performs patentability and freedom-to-operate searches and maintains an active docket.
