Job summary

Evans Transportation Services is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data infrastructure powering analytics and decision-making. You will own pipelines moving data from source systems into clean, reliable datasets used by analysts and data scientists.

You will work on batch and streaming pipelines, data modeling, and data governance, collaborating with engineers and business teams in a hybrid/remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in data engineering or closely related role.
• Strong SQL and programming knowledge (preferably .NET and Python).
• Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and distributed data systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Model and structure data in warehouses and lakehouses for analytics use cases.
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, third-party platforms, and event streams.
