Job summary

US Foods in Houston is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support National Sales customers and the sales team. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, process orders, respond to inquiries, and maintain detailed records to resolve issues promptly.

This hybrid role involves ~90% remote work and ~10% onsite at Central Region distribution centers, including Dallas and Houston. Schedule Sun, Mon, Thu-Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CT; overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience in customer service call center environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and problem resolution ability.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook; CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound calls and place outbound calls to customers to provide information, take orders, or obtain details of complaints.
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, including inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
• Resolve service or billing complaints and confirm changes; refer unresolved issues to designated departments.
• Coordinate same-day deliveries and pickups; respond to routing questions and issues.
• Respond to product inquiries and promote new or additional services or products.
