Job summary

Viasat is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, deploy, and operate cloud and edge infrastructure across AWS and GCP. You will own CI/CD pipelines, contribute to ML-driven routing and delivery decisions, and work with performance data to keep systems reliable at scale.

You will collaborate with a small, entrepreneurial team in a hybrid setup with 2–3 days per month in the Boston office while ramping up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud and edge infrastructure software across AWS and GCP.
• Own the deployment path for what you build—CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• Contribute to the ML pipeline optimizing routing, caching, and delivery decisions.
• Work with real-user and synthetic performance data through our analytics pipeline.
• Build self-healing systems to detect and resolve production issues automatically.
• Help build autonomous agent architecture with end-to-end production handoff.
