Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year of accounting experience or completion of at least one accounting internship with professional references.
• Experience with data modeling preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams on large-scale projects.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting tasks and analyses required to maintain reinsurance systems.
• Conduct data analysis and information processing using SQL reporting tools.
• Prepare miscellaneous data requests for various states.
• Assist in the preparation of actuarial triangles as required by management.
• Assist in preparing documentation for annual reinsurance contract renewals.
• Prepare quarterly and annual reporting exhibits for joint venture partners.
• Process and review excess loss billings.
• Perform and assist with reinsurance system maintenance.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
