Cura-Hospitality seeks a Registered Dietitian for Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in LA. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, developing interventions, and coordinating care with residents to support their goals and quality of life.

This is a hybrid role with opportunities for professional growth and licensure/academy dues reimbursement. We provide extensive benefits and a supportive team focused on patient-centered nutrition, MDS/CAAs completion, and collaborative care planning

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Mansioni

• Provide and update nutrition assessments for admissions and care plans.
• Educate residents on nutrition as needed.
• Create and update care plans for nurses and CNAs to reference at meals.
• Complete MDS (Minimum Data Sheets) for Section K and CAAs.
• Use nutrition-focused exams to identify malnutrition per ASPEN criteria.
• Attend care conferences with families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team during weekly meetings.
• Participate in QAPI and quality improvement meetings.
• Conduct monthly kitchen inspections and meal service audits.
