Healthcare Services Group, Inc. in Pittsburg, CA is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility in a hybrid setting.

You will assess residents’ nutrition needs, develop and document care plans, provide education to residents and staff, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide cross-building coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• State license in good standing in the practice state.
• Knowledge of state survey processes and nutrition regulations (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance as required.
• Multi-site RD may require a valid driver's license.
• RD-Eligible or provisional licensure accepted in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' clinical nutrition needs and document care plans in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on findings.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine a plan of care that improves health.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
