Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Manager to expand our Real Estate Tax practice. The role leads complex tax engagements for real estate investment partnerships, REITs, and related entities, with flexibility in office location due to hybrid model.

You will mentor staff, review returns, manage multi-state filings, and collaborate with partners to deliver compliant, high-quality guidance to clients across real estate structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent designation required.
• 10+ years of public accounting tax experience, including partnership tax.
• Experience with real estate partnerships or REITs.
• Experience with multi-state Partnership filings and K-1 reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee tax compliance engagements for real estate investment partnerships and REITs.
• Lead preparation and review of partnership, corporate, and REIT tax returns.
• Coordinate information from lower-tier partnerships, sponsors, investment managers.
• Manage multi-tier partnership structures and K-1 reporting.
• Review partnership agreements and investor allocations.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to resolve tax issues and meet deadlines.
• Assist with federal and multi-state tax compliance across jurisdictions.
• Mentor staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Stay informed on partnership taxation developments.
