Job summary

Compeer Financial is seeking a Closing Agent to manage accurate processing, closing, funding and servicing of real estate transactions. The role requires coordinating with internal teams and external partners to meet underwriting conditions and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in accounting, business, or related field, and a Notary Public commission or ability to obtain one within a few months.

Qualifications

• Experience with closing mortgage loans and title commitments preferred.
• Notary license or ability to obtain within the timeframe.
• Strong understanding of lending regulations and documents.

Responsibilities

• Process, close and fund real estate transactions in compliance with policies.
• Coordinate title commitments, appraisals and flood determinations.
• Explain documents to clients and secure signatures; perform witness closings as needed.
• Maintain accurate funding and data entry; ensure proper booking.
