7Th Sky Tech is seeking a skilled React Developer for a full-time hybrid role in Chicago. You will build modern, responsive web applications using React.js and related technologies, collaborating with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of frontend experience, strong React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills, and good understanding of state management and REST APIs.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with TypeScript is preferred.
• Good understanding of React Hooks, component lifecycle, and state management.
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
• Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with modern build tools such as Vite, Webpack, or similar.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components.
• Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional web interfaces.
• Integrate REST APIs and work closely with backend development teams.
• Manage application state using technologies such as Redux, Context API, or similar tools.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable JavaScript/TypeScript code.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Stay updated with modern frontend technologies and industry best practices.
