Job summary

Philips in Cambridge, MA is seeking a QMS Manager to lead the QMS team and drive compliant quality management across processes. You will oversee document control, training, internal audits, CAPA, NCR handling, and risk management, ensuring alignment with medical device regulations and company policy.

The role requires strong people leadership, hands-on process deployment, and monitoring of performance metrics to close gaps and support external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or QMS roles; 5+ years with medical device regulations preferred.
• Experience with CAPA, NCR handling, internal audits, risk management, and data analysis.
• Office/Remote position; onsite 3 days per week is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day operations of the QMS team, ensuring quality processes are compliant and efficient.
• Manages deployment and maintenance of QMS processes (document control, training, internal audits).
• Monitors performance metrics, analyzes trends, and develops action plans to close gaps.
• Prepares for external audits and inspections, providing documentation and audit responses.
• Manages NCRs and risk mitigation activities to prevent recurrence.
