Job summary

Akaasa Technologies in Miami, FL is seeking a QA Automation Lead to design, build, and maintain automated test suites for iOS and Android, driving quality across the mobile delivery lifecycle. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ship high-quality releases, implement API mocking with WireMock, and contribute to CI/CD integration.

This role requires hands-on testing, strong Hybris and API testing experience, and leadership to guide the QA team in an on-site,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of mobile test automation experience for iOS and/or Android
• Experience with Services (SOAP, REST OR GraphQL)
• Hybris testing experience
• Strong JIRA and Xray usage for defect tracking and test management
• Experience with no-code or low-code automation frameworks
• Experience configuring and using WireMock for HTTP API mocking
• Proficiency in Java for automation coding
• Excellent written and spoken English communication

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain mobile test automation frameworks and test suites for iOS and Android
• Perform hands-on manual testing including exploratory, regression, functional, and smoke testing of mobile apps
• Create and manage test cases, test plans, and defect reports in JIRA, linking test executions to requirements via Xray
• Develop and extend no-code / low-code automation scripts using visual/flow-based tools
• Write Java-based test code for API/integration needs
• Configure and maintain API mocking with WireMock
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
• Collaborate with developers to triage defects and validate fixes across builds
