Job summary
The Phoenix Group, a premier global law firm, is seeking an experienced AI Engineer/Architect to design and integrate AI-powered solutions across Finance, HR, and IT. The role demands hands-on engineering with a strong Python background and production AI experience.
Based in New York City, this hybrid position requires three onsite days weekly. You will work on modernizing on-prem applications, integrating LLMs, and shaping the firm’s AI strategy and architecture.
Qualifications
- Strong Python experience for building production AI solutions.
- Experience deploying production AI applications into enterprise systems.
- Hands-on with OpenAI APIs and integrating AI into existing apps.
- Experience designing AI architectures and scalable enterprise AI solutions.
- Experience with locally hosted LLMs (Ollama, Hugging Face, vLLM) and MCP servers.
- Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-powered applications and services using Python.
- Architect and integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise systems.
- Build production-ready solutions using OpenAI APIs and self-hosted LLMs.
- Develop AI agents, workflows, and automation features.
- Design custom MCP servers and AI integrations.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT to identify AI opportunities.
