Job summary

Davidson College is seeking a Prospect Research Analyst to conduct and document research on development prospects for fundraising and engagement efforts. You will prepare prospect profiles, analyze data, and support strategic segmentation.

The role supports development officers with data-driven recommendations, tracks findings in the CRM, and contributes to campus events and year-end fundraising initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required or highly preferred.
• Minimum of one year of professional work experience.
• Experience in nonprofit or higher education settings desirable.
• Experience with prospect research and data management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prospect profiles and summaries, calculate ratings using industry best practices.
• Create and analyze data lists using a variety of sources, tools and techniques.
• Collaborate to determine scope of research requests and fulfill them promptly.
• Act as a strategic partner to development officers, providing data-informed recommendations.
• Track findings in CRM and support data management across the organization.
• Assist with staff events and end-of-year fundraising activities.
