Job summary

American Society for Quality, Inc. (ASQ) in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives from initiation through completion, aligning with business strategy and budgets.

The role requires managing scope, schedules, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications while supporting governance and portfolio processes. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in project management with agile and waterfall approaches; PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience with agile and waterfall methods.
• At least 1 year of Smartsheet or similar PM tool experience.
• Must be able to comply with attendance and timeliness policies.
• Not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes project plans from initiation to closing, including budget management, schedule management, resource management, and end user management.
• Develops and maintains project assets including schedules, risk management logs, decision logs, task tracking tools, dashboards, and automations to create real-time reporting tools.
• Participates in PMO project selection, prioritization, governance, and risk management processes.
• Works with functional managers to ensure data for decision making is complete and available.
• Plans and implements key projects to improve quality, reduce costs, and increase productivity by reducing waste or variation.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, re-engineering and design to achieve business goals.
• Gathering, analyzing, and managing requirements that support the delivery of the assigned initiatives.

• Performs all other duties as assigned.
