Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; an Associate’s degree with three years of experience accepted.
• Valid driver’s license and meet company driving requirements.
• 2+ years of project or construction management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital projects across the Power Generation Fleet territory and collaborate with contractors for project and labor needs.
• Analyze and recommend design options, structures, systems and components, prepare engineering designs, material and construction specifications and cost estimates, review construction plans and implement activities for more complex projects.
• Perform more complex engineering designs, engineering calculations and system modifications.
• Apply codes, standards and regulations to tasks, designs and projects; update drawings and corporate records per guidelines.
• Utilize knowledge of system responsibilities and interconnected systems to troubleshoot and improve performance using monitoring/optimization tools.
• Review engineering designs, calculations and modifications of less experienced engineers.
