Job summary

GHD is seeking a versatile Project Manager – Business Analyst to optimize project delivery across the Western Region infrastructure portfolio. You will bridge engineering operations, corporate finance, and client groups, analyze project spend projections, develop portions of proposals, and work with internal marketing systems and review construction cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in business analysis or project management within civil engineering, architecture, or construction management industries.
• Experience with project accounting and CRM platforms such as BST and Salesforce.
• Ability to write cohesive business proposals and present financial data to technical staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; advanced Excel skills are a strong plus.
• Comfort with working across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyze project spend projections, budget variances, profitability metrics, and resource allocation.
• Cost Estimate Quality Control: Review draft cost estimates for errors and consistency.
• System Integration: Interface with CRM marketing systems.
• Proposal Writing: Author, coordinate, and edit technical and commercial sections of proposals.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal engineering teams, project managers, and external client groups.
• Project Controls: Manage schedules, track deliverables, and document key progress indicators.
