Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Technologist Diploma is required.
• 3-7 years of related engineering or technical experience.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and their practical applications.
• Familiarity with natural gas system design, distribution, transmission, or operations.
• Basic knowledge of industry safety regulations, codes, and standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, field notes, and survey information.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other applicable technical software.
• Basic knowledge of CAD and GIS software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering calculations, technical research, analysis, and design activities.
• Gather, compile, review, and analyze technical information and project data.
• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects.
• Assist in preparing engineering design drawings, technical documents, and project specifications.
• Maintain project reports, engineering records, databases, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to support project requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Review field notes, surveys, and engineering drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with company procedures, industry standards, and safety regulations.
