Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support multiple U.S. projects. You will develop cost and schedule baselines, collect progress data, and analyze variances to ensure forecasts align with commitments.

Responsibilities

• Develop time‑phased project cost and resource forecasts.
• Gather project progress information from project managers and team members.
• Update data related to schedule dates, resource requirements, subcontractor commitments, and project accruals.
• Review schedule progress and resource productivity.
• Monitor progress of deliverables and actual expenditures versus forecasts.
• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting and analyses.
• Document and assess the impact of project changes on cost and schedule baselines.
• Develop and maintain integrated critical path schedules for major projects or portfolios.
• Identify early warning signals and recommend resource realignments.
• Prepare client and internal status reports communicating cost status and trends.
