Job summary

ReNuke Services is seeking a Project Controls Cost Analyst II for our client’s site in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on routine and complex cost forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, reporting to program or portfolio levels, with heavy Excel use and data handling.

The selected candidate will support project managers on a range of projects, develop cost estimates with estimators, and ensure adherence to governance standards while working in a hybrid environment near Charlotte.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum related experience in cost analysis or project controls.
• Associates Degree in Engineering, PM, Finance or Business.
• Experience with Excel at an advanced level, data analysis, and reporting.
• Hybrid work arrangement in the Charlotte area.

Responsibilities

• Generate periodic project controls reports (monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc) and analyze data in support of reporting.
• Perform Change Control and manage cost baseline changes per governance standards.
• Assist benchmarking and self-assessment initiatives relevant to project controls.
• Maintain cost estimates, track cash flow, variance and earned value analyses.
• Collaborate with Estimator(s) to create project cost estimates and ensure coverage.
• Maintain effective relationships with customers and resolve issues as negotiated.
