Job summary

Seattle University seeks a dynamic Project Center Director to lead the College of Science and Engineering Project Center, overseeing staff, recruitment, and external partnerships that connect students with real-world projects.

The role involves contract management, marketing strategies, event planning, and close collaboration with faculty and leadership to expand opportunities for sponsorship and student engagement. Hybrid work may be available after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of successful technical sales or equivalent experience.
• Experience in oral and written presentations with corporate and governmental managers.
• Background in program development including marketing, sales, event planning, and fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Project Recruitment/Business Development: research leads, build relationships, and develop project concepts with SU faculty.
• Contract Management and Sponsor Relations: manage contractual materials including IP agreements, sponsor fees, and master agreements.
• Marketing Management: maximize marketing opportunities and coordinate materials for Projects Center campaigns.
• Events Planning: supervise fall workshops, joint sessions, and the Projects Day program.
• Program Management: identify faculty needs, collect feedback, and manage budgets.
