Job summary

World Relief Upstate SC is seeking a Programs Assistant to provide on-the-ground support, help clients settle in, and assist program staff. This limited-term role, funded through a grant until 12/15/26, is hybrid with four days in the office and one day working from home.

You will coordinate logistics between clients, partners, and staff; support orientations, intakes, transportation, and referrals; maintain files and participate in trainings and events. A mature Christian faith is required.

Qualifications

  • Mature and personal Christian faith.
  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief.
  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities.
  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Relief's Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics between clients, community partners, and World Relief staff.
  • Ensure timely client services, including orientations, intakes, assessments, transportation, and housing moves.
  • Provide mediation and coordination with healthcare providers, property managers, volunteers, and school districts.
  • Maintain program activities, case files, and client database to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and events; support other program staff as needed.
