Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Program Quality Engineer in Windsor, CT for a hybrid role with on-site and remote flexibility. The PQE will analyze investigations related to the LME program and report on Collins investigations, working with PW.

A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years in quality engineering or operations are required. Key duties include coordinating customer quality interfaces, driving CAPA, and leading improvements using 8D methods, PPAP, and ZDP initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of two years in Quality Engineering or Operations.
• Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Willingness to work on-site in Windsor Locks, CT.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer quality interfacing and reviews.
• Facilitate corrective and preventative actions with internal teams.
• Manage customer issues to meet business goals.
• Resolve critical issues via 8D methodology.
• Use metrics to drive improvements for customer satisfaction.
• Communicate improvement plans to stakeholders and customers.
• Collaborate to implement continuous improvement tools.
• Champion PPAP and ZDP quality initiatives.
