Job summary

RectorSeal, a Houston-based unit of CSW Industrials, Inc., seeks a Supply Chain Specialist to manage vendor relationships, negotiate costs, and ensure timely procurement of products for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and construction markets. Responsibilities include purchase planning, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement of purchasing processes.

The role requires 5 years in procurement, JDE ERP experience, and strong Excel/Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5 years’ experience in procurement and sourcing/logistics (chemicals, containers, packaging goods, and/or finished product buyouts).
• ERP system experience; JDE preferred.
• Strong PC skills with MS Office, especially Excel, Teams and MS Project.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to handle last-minute priority changes and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan purchase orders based on inventory and forecast to ensure target in-stock weeks.
• Coordinate with sales and planning to keep demand forecasts current in JDE.
• Maintain PO delivery dates and analyze MRP messages.
• Interface with suppliers; negotiate prices and payment terms; place POs.
• Ensure documentation for logistics and warehouse processes.
