Job summary

MiTek/AtlasIED in Elkhart, IN is seeking a Power Supply & Audio Amplifier Engineer to design, develop and validate high-performance power and audio circuits for commercial products. The role blends deep analog expertise with hands-on engineering in a hybrid setup—3 days in the office, 2 remote.

You will prototype, test, optimize for efficiency and EMI/EMC, and work with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in power electronics and/or audio amplifier design.
• Schematic capture, PCB layout tools, and circuit simulation (Altium preferred).
• Hands-on lab experience debugging real hardware.
• Normal office setting, travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate power supply and audio amplifier circuits.
• Prototype, test plans, and validation procedures for hardware.
• Address efficiency, EMI/EMC, thermal, safety, and reliability requirements.
• Support design for manufacturability and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams.
