Job summary

University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Power Platform Solutions Engineer to maintain SharePoint sites, automate Power Automate flows, and build Power Apps across Health Sciences units. You will collaborate with a senior developer to keep systems current, document processes, and ensure reliable data integration with related systems.

This hybrid role requires 1+ years of SharePoint Online admin, Power Automate and Power Apps experience, SQL knowledge, and strong written communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ years administering SharePoint Online including site/library/list management.
• 1+ years building Power Automate flows in production (approval, scheduled, connectors).
• Experience developing Power Apps (canvas and model-driven).
• Knowledge of SQL and Dataverse concepts.
• Experience maintaining Power Platform environments and Dataverse tables/relationships.
• Strong written communication; translate processes into documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create, configure, and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists for workflows.
• Manage permissions, metadata, content types, and versioning.
• Monitor site health, storage, and structure; perform cleanup as needed.
• Troubleshoot access, permission, and content issues reported by users.
• Build, modify, and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate.
• Debug flow failures and connector issues; monitor run history.
• Develop and maintain Power Apps (canvas/model-driven).
• Update apps for changing business requirements and test across devices.
• Document builds, dependencies, and limitations; maintain a shared repo.
• Understand Power Apps/Automate with connected systems and data sources.
