Job summary

Godaelli Psychiatry & Mental Health Center is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Virginia. This role offers the flexibility to provide care through in-office appointments and tele-health. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience and expertise in psychopharmacology. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, prescribing medications, and providing therapy. The position can be part-time or full-time as a 1099 independent contractor. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Expertise in psychopharmacology, including prescribing and monitoring psychiatric medications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications based on patient needs.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
