Job summary

CDM Smith Inc. is seeking a Digital Products & Services Project Manager to oversee a blended portfolio of standard SaaS deployments and custom consulting engagements. You will coordinate software deployments, data integrations, and roadmaps while ensuring revenue protection and margin control.

The role combines project governance, forecasting, and proactive client leadership across public utility projects, with travel as required. A degree and 5 years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Blended Portfolio Management: primary PM for a hybrid mix of standard SaaS implementations and custom digital services.
• Product Implementation Governance: orchestrate deployments, tenancy, cloud setup, mobile apps, user profiles, and training milestones.
• Custom Services & Roadmap Delivery: manage custom digital services and roadmaps per client needs.
• Rigorous Monthly Forecasting & Re-Budgeting: monthly EcoSys forecasts, labor reallocations, and ledger alignment.
• Proactive Account Governance & Cleanup: routine portfolio cleanups and formal closeouts after contracts end.
• Aggressive Cash-Flow & Invoicing Protection: minimize billing gaps and ensure accurate monthly invoices.
• Contractual Boundary Enforcement: separate Fixed-Fee vs. Time & Materials work; manage scope changes.
• Data Integration Pipeline Management: coordinate GIS, field mapping, and SCADA data integrations.
• Strategic Leadership Escalation: flag risks to Delivery Leader and propose commercial workarounds.
• Authoritative Client and Matrix Leadership: be the high-touch contact translating requests into tasks.
