Job summary

Manufacturing Organization in Maple Grove, MN seeks a Plant Controller to lead financial reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, and forecasting for the manufacturing facility. This role partners with plant operations, supply chain and executive leadership to drive profitability and strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing accounting experience, proficiency with ERP systems and Excel, and a track record of strengthening internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong cost accounting, inventory management and manufacturing ops knowledge.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and performance reports.
• Lead month-end and year-end closes with GAAP compliance.
• Provide analytic support for operational improvements and decisions.
• Monitor KPIs and report results to plant and corporate leadership.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variances with plant leadership.
