Job summary

KenCrest in Bell, CA seeks a strategic Philanthropy Gift Officer to grow individual donor support, including annual leadership, major, and planned gifts. You will manage a curated portfolio, cultivate relationships, and align donor priorities with KenCrest's mission.

Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, you will conduct donor visits, prepare compelling proposals, collaborate across leadership and programs, and track activity in our CRM to drive meaningful stewardship and sponsorships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible fundraising or relationship management experience.
• Proven ability to build trusting relationships with diverse individuals.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Experience with donor databases or CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 100–125 donor prospects.
• Solicit annual, major, and planned gifts.
• Conduct 8–10 donor visits per month, in-person or virtual.
• Prepare gift proposals and donor correspondence.
• Collaborate with leadership and board members on cultivation and solicitation.
• Track activities in CRM and report follow-ups.
• Assist in donor education and stewardship initiatives.
