Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED and 1 year (or equivalent) of experience processing pharmacy prior authorizations.
• Experience handling re-authorizations and submitting forms to insurance plans.
• Preferred: specialty pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Enter re-authorizations into the portal and ensure accurate forms.
• Submit completed re-authorization forms to insurance plans.
• Maintain a log of all re-authorizations submitted.
• Follow up with insurers or physician offices by phone, email or spreadsheets for status.
