Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Pharmacist license from the appropriate state licensing authority.
• Experience dispensing prescriptions and knowledge of state/federal laws.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
• Willing to work in multiple environments (Retail, Centralized, Virtual).
• Willing to travel up to 10% for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmacist tasks, including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets and dispenses prescribed medications.
• Enhances patient experience with counseling and clinical services such as immunizations.
• Conducts centralized support and handles patient registration and issue resolution.
• Provides education and support to the broader team; promotes teamwork.
• Supports inventory management and optimization of pharmacy financials.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and maintains workflow procedures.
• Oversees opening/closing and shift changes; maintains provider relationships.
• Processes insurance claims and liaises with insurers and providers.
