Job summary

Kyntronics is seeking a part-time Controller to oversee the accounting team and support growth in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, and defense actuation systems. The role reports to the President and will balance on-site work with flexible hours and some remote work.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of accounting experience, 3+ years in an Assistant Controller or Senior Accounting role, and manufacturing experience. CPA preferred; MBA a plus.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Minimum 3 years in an Assistant Controller or Senior Accounting role.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial companies required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations including general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, fixed assets, cost accounting, and cash management.
• Prepare financial statements and KPIs in accordance with U.S. GAAP for executive decision‑making.
• Monitor performance against plan and provide variance analysis with corrective actions as needed.
• Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
• Prepare bi‑weekly payroll and record payroll, tax, and insurance GL entries.
• Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
