Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking a Project Engineer to lead a team of engineers for Houston-based activities supporting offshore projects in the Gulf of Mexico. You will direct critical technical tasks for installations, light construction, diving, remediation and IMR on installation vessels.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 10+ years of experience, plus proficiency in 2D CAD and structural/analytical tools. Hybrid work with up to 20% offshore travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 10+ years engineering experience including analytical methods and CAD tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including offshore.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and ensure alignment with Oceaneering policies and safety standards.
• Direct and review structural and mechanical design/analysis for pipeline and subsea installations.
• Approve design changes, specs, FAT/SIT, and engineering calculations.
• Interface with clients and internal teams to plan and deliver engineering deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes (ASME, AISC, API, ABS, AWS).
